About Jeff Boren

Jeff is the founder of Crossroads Firearms Training, which is now Boren Training Solutions. Jeff began shooting pistols at a young age and continued his passion for shooting into adulthood. After 14 years as a high school football coach and Athletic Director, Jeff choose to go into school administration and served as a principal for 7 years before becoming the Director of School Safety for the district. After hanging up the whistle, he set out to earn his first firearms instructor certification. After a long search, he settled on Citizens Safety Academy in Murfreesboro, TN. This decision made an impact on not only Jeff’s trajectory as an instructor, but his path forward. Through the mentorship of CSA’s Aqil Qadar and Tiffany Johnson, Jeff has branched out and completed his Master Instructor Certification from the legendary Instructor Tom Givens Rangemaster Instructor Development program. Jeff seeks to obtain at least 100 hours of personal training from other professionals each year.
